Since Christine was leaving for perth (and leaving the KDC crew behind), we decided to have authentic Korean food, followed by Karaoke (althou Karaoke is not korean, but the koreans in the drama serials sing them, so ...yar!).

So KDC Girls,  here you go! Peekchars from the KDC Inaugral meeting!

The food was goooot! Sank Yew Jackie for the very wise selection. And because Serene, Ting and Maureen couldnt make it, we gotta go back again. And having a room was an extremely wise decision.

And since it was all things Korean, we had to have Korean Sake. And in the korean drama serials, when all the Burp, sorry i meant Babes, got drunk, they had their faces pressed against the table.

And Jill cracked us up BEEEG time. Check out her face. This was after IT happened.

"Purru House" Moment

Then at karaoke, our KDC programming engineer, a highly potential KDC convert and the Vontrap Brudder (althou i think he's a KDC wannabe) joined us.

Christine! We miss you already. You better come back soon, or else, i'll send this evidence to Sol Ji Hup and he may not be too pleased..

Was in the land of the rising sun for a business trip. The funny thing is, i stayed at the same hotel as the last time round when i visited Tokyo. How bizzare! Anyways, visited the Tokyo Motor Show and it was quite an eye opener! I felt like a little boy trapped in girly clothes! Hahahaha!

Our first funny encounter was this immigration form which required us to fill in our alien registration number! I. Come. in . peace. hah

We took the bullet train to the factory which was a good 2 hours ride! Lunch was the all famous Japanese bento set - Cold chicken cutlet with rice. It was pretty yummy thou.

We did manage to get some time off to go shopping in the evening. Finally managed to check out Roppongi - the night club area, and the Tokyo Tower.

Okay this is the part when all the boys and girls went crazy! Well, i did! There were fast cars....

the oh-so-funky new-concept mini cooper...

of course they had my favouritest car in the whole wide world! The new beetle cabriolet.I'm sorry, pardon the pose-in-car cheesy shots!

there were very very cute concept cars..

There was the car which swivels 360 degrees so that you wont have any problems when parking. The cushion covers even come in funky colours like fushia pink! The ultimate lady's car!

And there was the very very cool, Maserati! It was called "The birdcage!"

Had dinner with the client as well as the staff from the brand's principle office. Belly good! Belly Belly good!

And to end it off, besides being very polite and hospitable people, the japanese are very very innovative people i must say!

Must i really explain? Well, The buttons help you clean u, when you're done!

After much procrastination, my brother and i finally got our act together, and took a trip to Shanghai to visit the folks. We decided to bring Granny along too. Here are the pictures! Typical touristy pics.

The typical touristy thing to do! Visited the Oriental Pearl tower and took a lot of photos that didnt really make sense. They were mostly bird's eye view of tall buildings and its surroundings.

The Shanghai Night scene. The first pic is supposed to be where they filmed "Shanghai Tan". Quite a pretty sight. Oh, another bizzare thing that we saw, were people shopping around in their pyjamies!!! And this was in the city area (just like our Orchard Road). I was like, Wassup gurlfren!!

Dinner with the folks! The steamboat was yummz! And of course whats a good dinner without beer!

See! It runs in the genes! Me daddy gets red-faced after just a sip of beer too!! They didnt pick me from the garbage bin!! Yay!
